I understand them to be traction devices. This is part of the problem with reimbursement for decompression, and why outcomes vary so much. I agree that decompression tables are rediculously high priced, but at this point in time, there is no economical alternative, unless one is incredibly talented at using a cox flexion distraction table. It is my opinion that marketing the use of such tables as decompression is misleading, and simply a way of trying to jump on the bandwagon without paying for a ticket. Even if you get good results with your treatment, it is still traction.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
